Screw barrel for injection molding machine: The screw barrel of the injection molding machine is a key component of the injection molding machine. Its screw barrel structure needs to adapt to the requirements of the plastic injection molding process. During the injection molding process, the screw rotates in the screw barrel. On the one hand, the plastic particles must be evenly plasticized and melted, and on the other hand, the molten plastic must be accurately injected into the mold cavity. Therefore, the screw barrel used in the injection molding machine has relatively precise temperature control and screw rotation speed and other parameter requirements. Usually, the screw barrel is equipped with an efficient heating and cooling system on the outside to meet the plasticizing temperature requirements of different plastics. In addition, the screw of the injection molding machine screw barrel must also have good mixing, compression, metering and other functions to ensure that plastics of different types and formulas can be properly processed in the barrel and can be accurately injected into the mold according to the set amount.

Screw barrel for extruder: The screw barrel used in the extruder is used to produce various continuous shapes of material products. According to the type of extruded material, such as plastic, rubber, ceramic materials and other different requirements. For example, in a plastic extruder, the screw barrel must ensure that the screw can continuously and stably transport the plastic raw materials from the inlet end to the outlet end, and fully plasticize and mix the plastic on the way, and finally extrude it through the die head into various shapes of products such as pipes, profiles, films, etc. Among them, the aspect ratio of the screw, the depth of the screw groove, the structural form of the screw (such as single screw, twin screw, etc.) and the heating temperature distribution of the screw barrel are all different according to the requirements of different extrusion products. For the extrusion of heat-sensitive plastic raw materials, the temperature control accuracy of the screw barrel must be very high to prevent the raw materials from overheating and decomposing in the barrel.

Screw barrel for screw pump: The screw barrel of the screw pump needs to be closely connected with the pump body structure of the screw to realize the task of liquid delivery. As explained in the working principle of the screw pump above, the meshing of the screw barrel and the screw forms a sealed space to ensure the suction and discharge of the liquid. The screw barrel of the screw pump has various forms according to the properties of the liquid to be transported. For example, for a screw pump that transports lubricating oil, the internal space of the screw barrel is relatively smooth to reduce the frictional resistance to the oil; when transporting viscous liquids or liquids containing particulate impurities, the gap between the screw barrel and the screw and the wear resistance must be specially designed to ensure that the normal conveying function will not be affected by impurity wear or viscosity of viscous liquids during long-term operation.
