Differences between single Screw Air Compressor and Twin Screw Air Compressor
Nov 20, 2020
Single-Screw Air Compressor uses single-screw rotor to drive two symmetrically distributed star wheels to rotate, and relies on the spiral groove and the inner wall of the shell to form a closed elementary volume, so that the gas reaches the required pressure. The advantages of Screw Air Compressor lie in: low manufacturing cost, simple structure, ideal force balance, no clearance volume, etc.
Twin-screw-type air compressor is composed of a pair of parallel distributed and intermeshing rotor. One rotor rotates clockwise and the other rotates counterclockwise to generate the required pressure during the intermeshing process. Twin-screw-type air compressor advantages: high mechanical reliability, good dynamic balance, strong applicability, etc.
